He’s currently the Vice Director of the China Psychology Society Industrial Psychology Committee, the Vice Secretary of Beijing Social Psychology Society, Member of China Ergonomics Society Cognitive Ergonomics Committee, Member of International Association of Applied Psychology, and International Member of Academy of Management. He has rich research experience in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and directed several research project sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation.

Owens Corning is home to 20,000 employees worldwide. Chris has developed programs to tie EAP with Safety, Wellness, Disability, Medical, and HR.
He has earned his Masters Degree in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Certified Employee Assistance Professional, National Board Certified Counselor, and a Substance Abuse Professional. He has also completed Advanced Training in Critical Incident Stress Management.

Dr. Hughes is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). He has completed broad professional training in the Social and Behavioral Sciences. He holds Masters Degrees in both Social Work, and Cultural Anthropology. His doctoral research focused on the life-ways of a group of inner city men building upon the practice and theory of Urban Anthropology. Presently, he is the Director of the Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and an Assistant Professor of Community and Preventive Medicine, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Hughes has been a member of Boston College’s Work Family Roundtable representing the Mt. Sinai-NYU Health System. He is the immediate-past President of the NYC Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) and the current chair of EAPA’s Research Sub-committee. Lastly, Dr. Hughes serves as a member of the Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Physician Wellness Committee (PWC). In this capacity he participates in investigations and interventions involving impaired medical practice.

Michael Paolercio, CEAP, MPA, is the Director of the Employee Assistance Program for the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team, an organization that houses the only full-time, organization-wide, internal EAP in professional sports. He has worked in the field of emergency psychiatry since just before the Pleistocene Age, and is an experienced disaster and trauma counselor who traces his EAP work to his own recovery from the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and subsequent work at the Cypress Street freeway collapse. He eventually wrote a book about this experience that was in print for all of about twelve minutes. In his current role, Michael provides EAP services to employees and families of the San Francisco Giants on a year-round basis, both throughout the United States as well as seven foreign countries. Additionally he also directs the Work/Life and Wellness Program for employees and family members at SBC Park, home of the 2002 National League Champion San Francisco Giants.
